Toby XU joined Alipay in 2007 and was involved in the development and architecture management of Alipay's core payment platform. In 2012, he participated in the preparation of A&I and took on the position of CTO, responsible for building A&I's global technology team. After stepping down as the CTO of A&I, Toby XU took full responsibility for the development of GLocal business. He formed close strategic partnerships with local wallets in various Asian markets, providing comprehensive empowerment in technology, growth, and capital to accelerate the business growth and innovation of local wallets. In 2018, Toby XU was named as one of the "Global 35 Young People Under 35 Years Old in Scientific and Technological Innovation" by the MIT Technology Review. Toby XU is in charge of A+ Next Center currently, continuing to lead the team in accelerating the digital transformation and upgrading of our global partners with technology.
