Metin Yücel is the Head of Next Generation Banking and Entrepreneurship at Kuveyt Turk Participation Bank, overseeing open banking, embedded finance, Banking-as-a-Service, platform banking and the Lonca Entrepreneurship Center. He previously founded and served as CEO of Techafull, recognized as the first digital participation insurance startup in the EU. Before that, he held senior leadership roles at Neova Insurance as Director of Strategy, PMO, HR and Communications, and earlier at Kuveyt Turk as Head of Individual and Micro Loans Risk Follow-Up and Strategic Project Manager. Yücel is also an active startup mentor and investor, supporting scale-up–ready entrepreneurs through strategic guidance and ecosystem collaboration.
