He graduated from Istanbul Technical University's Department of Aeronautical Engineering in 1987.
After completing his military service as a Second Lieutenant at the Eskişehir 1st Air Supply and Maintenance Center, he began working at the Defense Industry Development and Support Administration in 1989. Today’s Presidency of Defense Industries.
In 2001, he completed an MBA in International Business at National University in San Diego, USA.
He worked in R&D and aviation programs until 2006. In 2006, he was appointed Test and Certification Manager of the Quality, Test and Certification Department, and continued his career as Certification Manager in 2010.
In 2014, he was appointed Support Ship Projects Manager of the Naval Platforms Department, and later that year, he was appointed Defense Industry Specialist in the Middle East and Africa Directorate of the International Cooperation Department.
He served as Head of the Naval Platforms Department from 2016 to 2021.
He has been serving as Deputy General Manager of Technology Management and Investment Evaluation at SSTEK since January 2022.
