Alper Güzel was born in Çorum in 1979. He graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2002.  In 2005, he completed his Master's degree in Business Administration at the same university. He started his career as an IT Specialist at UPS-SCS in 2002, and then worked as R&D Manager at Akatek Tekstil. He worked as an International Sales Specialist at Türk Telekom, IT Procurement Officer at Avea and International Sales Manager at Telecom Italia Sparkle. Between 2017 and 2022, he worked as Sales Director and Business Development - Planning Director at Türk Telekom International. He worked as Deputy General Manager (COO) responsible for Operations and Business Development at Fergani Space Company. During the 2023-2024 period, he served as the General Director of National Technology by Presidential Decree.

His areas of expertise include business development, international data traffic management, market analysis, cyber security, artificial intelligence, strategic planning and marketing and revenue management. 

Mr. Güzel, currently serving as the International and Wholesale Sales Director at Turkcell, is married and has four children.
