Ahmet Fazil Yagli got his B.S. degree in electrical and electronics engineering at METU in 2001. He earned  M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering at Syracuse University in 2005 and 2006, respectively. He joined Turksat satellite communication company in 2006. Between 2016 and 2019,  he worked as the director of ASELSAN Research Center. In 2019, he was assigned as the Radar Systems Engineering Director of ASELSAN. In October 2019 he served as the ILS Director of radar and EW division of ASELSAN. Since 2022, he is the Technology and Innovation Management Director of ASELSAN. He served as a board member at TRAnten between 2020 and 2024. Rf, microwave, computational EM, antennas and propagation, satellite communications, satellite integration and test systems, and navigation systems are among the research topics of Dr. Yagli.
